A creative in every sense of the word; when Im' not pouring over design techniques and philosophies, I'm exploring my passion for music, sports, and comedy. Melodies, competition, and laughter are the fuel that keeps me going.
The journey to UX has afforded me the opportunity to gather valuable life lessons. These adventures have fine tuned my ability to empathize with a wide range of users. Within my process, I'm able to identify the primary challenge, and meet it head on with the proper tools, methodology and scheme to address the issue. Nelson Mandela said, "I never lose, I either win, or learn."
As a designer, I enjoy the opportunity to perfect a solution by exercising various testing methods to gain applicable feedback to improve the prototype.... then test again.
Additional activities include:
- Served as a mentor to the University of Texas - Dallas design team for the 2020 semester. Taught the design process and consulted on a design project that the interning company uses to this day.
- Taught in a conference for new Figma uses to explain the usefullness of the tool and how to apply it to multiple disciplines
